Disaster Relief Team
Those in our association that have received Phase 1 disaster relief training and
would like to be a part of the associational response team, please contact Leon
Priest, email n4tfk@qsl.net / phone, 351-4721. Leon is our team leader. You
may also contact the association office. If there is no one at the office, you
may leave a voice mail and that will be sufficient.
The information we need is name, phone number, email address if you have
email and church membership. Leon will be collecting the information and you
will be contacted later.

As some of you know we have been updating our email address list. I know
not all Disaster workers have email, but this is the most effective way we have
to get the word out for our response. If your address has changed since you
have received your training, please let us know so we can keep our list up to
date, and we can also pass it on to our state Disaster Relief office.
If you don’t have an email address and you have a friend that does who is in
Disaster Relief, please give that info to us, or maybe we could use your
church's email to notify you and others in your church of disaster responses.
We are open for any suggestions to improve our notification plan.
We need people that can and will respond to needs. We can’t wait till there is
a need to get organized. Now Is the time to get ready. We feel the need to get
some equipment to be able to respond to wind and ice storms, but before we
purchase equipment we want to be sure we have the people able and willing to
use it.
If you feel God is calling you to be a part of Disaster Relief, let us know. The
training will be available. Please pray with me about where God wants us in
this ministry.
