You heard a year ago Bro. Bruce Underhill's request as Campus Minister to "Lend Me
Your Students." Well, I wish to report to you today that We Have SOME of Your
Students! Thank you to all churches who support the Campus Ministries here at
Elizabethtown Community and Technical College! Our students have been meeting for a
few weeks now for worship and outreach activities and may I say, it has been a blessing
to get to know these students. We all come from a variety of backgrounds and range
from 18 to 50's, and Saved for Years to No Relationship With Jesus at all.
We ARE getting the word out. We have had new people join our fellowship through the
on campus outreach efforts of our students! Praise God! We are planning some ministry
opportunities for the students as well as our weekly worship and Bible Study to prepare
our hearts for what God has in store for us. One direction we are heading is towards a
Spring Break Mission Adventure. We are prayerfully seeking God's direction for our
students to serve during spring break. I am familiar with several ministries across the
U.S. that our students can work with, but am always excited to hear about new ways and
places to serve. Please fell free to contact me with your suggestions.
Again, it has been a blessing this year to serve as Campus Minister and I look forward to
seeing God's love unfold in YOUR students. Keep praying, keep serving, and most
importantly, KEEP SHARING!
